Masterclass Topics
-
Taking into account the serious and profound challenges facing leaders today, there is no doubt it is a time for strong and healthy leadership – leaders defined not by their superhero powers, but by their fruit - healthy signs of growth and multiplication around them.
This masterclass will address some of the common stereotypes and misperceptions about strong leadership, addressing the inner work that requires as strength of character, an ability to make tough decisions, and a determination to remain true to core values against the tide of popularism.
The learning will also involve imparting some of the most compelling scientific evidence that will help leaders practice resilience – the capacity to sustain the physical, mental, and emotional demands of leadership over time.
-
Leadership is socially constructed – how we lead is shaped by our experiences and the knowledge we acquire throughout our lives. But guess what? What we learn is not always accurate or true. As we develop and grow as leaders, we sometimes develop beliefs and assumptions about the world that are based on incomplete or inaccurate information.
This masterclass unpacks the necessary process of rethinking and unlearning so leaders can be equipped with both the latest scientific insight and practical tools to help them see the bigger picture and navigate some of the everyday challenges of leading others.
There is an option for leaders to engage with executive coaching as part of this masterclass to gain further support for individual change from inside out.
-
We are living through an era of unprecedented challenges and opportunities. What does leadership look like in an era where turbulence and disruption are the norm?
How should leaders navigate this moment? To explore the answers to these questions this masterclass approaches the ability to lead change today on 3 different levels – from leading self, leading teams and organisations, to wider community and society.
This masterclass will bring research-informed insight to help leaders gain knowledge and expertise about how to pursue and deliver change successfully. It adopts an inside out learning approach that starts with understanding the human dynamics of change - the role of the body, mind and heart in leading transition.
From this foundation, the masterclass will also explore some of the tried and tested strategies so leaders will be equipped with the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours for leading change and transformation.
-
Effective leadership today requires much more than technical ability or functional skills. If you are a leader that wants to successfully coach teams, manage stress, deliver feedback, and collaborate with others to achieve positive change and transformation, then you need to develop emotional intelligence.
The research evidence about emotional capacity is compelling – it is what separates average leaders from outstanding leaders, and as a result, it is one of the most sought-after interpersonal skills of leaders today across all sectors.
This masterclass will take leaders through 4 steps, exploring the practice of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management to develop emotionally resilient leadership competency in the areas.
